Dr Olakunle Churchill Donates Life Saving Ambulances to Nigeria’s Federal Fire Service

Yesterday, CEO of Big Church Foundation, Olakunle Churchill donated brand new Mercedes Benz Ambulances, 1,000 fire extinguishers and 1,000 fire blankets to one of Nigeria’s oldest government organisation, Federal Fire Service, in Abuja. The foundation is known for its good works around the country, Dr. Churchill visited the Federal Fire Service office accompanied by his mother as they held a vital meeting with Director General Joseph Garba Anebi. In the meeting Churchill revealed his plans to support the system with a life rescuing vehicle as part of their commitment to save lives and contribute to humanity.

Dr. Churchill said it was imperative to contact Nigeria Fire Service and donate a Life Rescuing vehicle to the service as part of the foundation objectives to support humanitarian activities since it involves saving life and giving back to the society. Olakunle and his team spoke extensively on the need to partner with the fire service in whatever capacity geared to ensure proper attendance to emergency crisis and fire outbreak to save life and properties.

Applauding the courage and the goodwill of Big Church Foundation, the Director General Joseph Garba Anebi said ” We are speechless and amazed with this benevolence from an organisation to support the service, ‎what we do is also a humanitarian service which involves saving lives…we are excited to have your partnership with Nigeria Fire service especially with your donation of Life Rescuing Vehicle for emergency crisis. God almighty will sustain you and we call on the general public to borrow a leaf from this foundation to help in this collective quest to save humanity”


Applauding the courage and the goodwill of Big Church Foundation, the Director General Joseph Garba Anebi said they were overwhelmed by this kind gesture as this is the very first time an organisation or individual will donate or support Nigeria Fire service since its establishment in 1901.

‎ The event which was first of its kind since the inception of the FFS in 1901 drew attendance from fire fighters, top celebrities from Nollywood and the music industry including Ayo Makun (AY), Waje, Mike Ezunronye, TBoss, Victoria Kimani, Emma Nyra, Mamuze Twins, Charles Awurum, Praiz, Dennis Dooshima and others.
