Actress Doyin Kukoyi finally breaks silence on secret ‘marriage’ to Ogogo

Nollywood actress and broadcaster Doyin Kukoyi has debunked speculation linking her romantically to veteran actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo.

In an interview on journalist Seun Oloketuyi’s YouTube channel, Kukoyi explained that the rumors began after she shared a photo from a movie set where she and Ogogo played husband and wife.

“I was at a movie location with Ogogo, we both played the movie roles of husband and wife where our daughter got married. The two of us took a picture, and I shared it on my social media page. Some people took out the picture and started saying that we were married. Till today, a lot of people still believe that I’m married to Ogogo,” she clarified.

The actress added that she shared the image because of the bond she shared with the respected actor, saying: “I took the picture with Ogogo because I loved him.”

Kukoyi, who has spent over three decades in Nollywood and started her media career with Daar Communications, also spoke about her long-standing contributions to the industry.

Speculations about a romantic bond between her and Ogogo first surfaced in 2022 when she posted playful photos of them together online, referring to him as her husband.
