Thelma Lawson has emerged as the new Head of House (HoH) for Week 7 of Big Brother Naija Season 10, bringing Faith’s brief reign to an end after Monday’s intense challenger games.
This marks Thelma’s second time occupying the top seat, having briefly held the HoH title in Week 2. With this victory, she joins the list of female housemates who have officially claimed the position this season. Her win secures her immunity from eviction and the full privileges of leadership in the house.
In exercising her new powers, Thelma selected Mide as her HoH lounge guest, a decision that automatically grants him immunity for the week as well.
Monday’s contest began with Faith, Koyin, Jason Jae, Kaybobo, Bright Morgan, and Thelma vying for the crown. After the opening round, Koyin, Bright, Faith, and Thelma advanced to the finals.
Thelma outperformed her rivals in the last stage to clinch the HoH seat, officially unseating Faith.
Faith had entered the games as Interim HoH, a title he secured last week after defeating Koyin and Kuture. His short-lived reign saw him pick Joanna as his lounge guest, a move that sparked conversations among housemates. His tenure came to an abrupt end as Thelma claimed victory in Monday’s showdown.
Meanwhile, Mensan was announced as the “Snail of the House” on Sunday, adding another dramatic twist to a season already full of surprises.
