Madam Tariboba Memberr, Chief Executive Officer of Now Travels and Tours, and Mrs. Ivy Davies Etokakpan, Editor in Chief of Eve Afrique News represented the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA) on Day One of the 2026 Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) Trade Mission in London, held on March 25, 2026.
The day featured the flagship “Travel Advisory: Beyond London” session in collaboration with the Greater Essex Board, positioning Greater Essex as a strategic hub for trade, investment, and partnership opportunities for Nigerian businesses. Key sectors highlighted included advanced manufacturing, green energy and green economy, life sciences and MedTech, AI and data technology, ports and logistics, construction and regeneration, as well as transnational education.
Activities commenced with delegates converging at Citadines Trafalgar Square London before proceeding to the Radisson Blu Hotel, London Stansted Airport for the main engagements. The programme included presentations, sector-focused matchmaking sessions, networking engagements, and a plenary session to outline key insights and next steps. A Stansted Airport tour also formed part of the day’s activities, offering delegates insight into key logistics infrastructure supporting international trade.
