Man identified as Thompson Ewepu took to his Facebook Page to share the experience of how he came out of a near death experience in the hands of men claiming to be members of IPOB.
Thompson said ” My siblings, friends and associates I want you to thank God for saving my life and that of my co-church members from death in the hands of gunmen in one of the Igbo communities called USO in hulo in imo state, which we went for a burial. ”
” We were 8 in number in the car, we were attacked, told to come down, asked us were we are coming from, we told them Bayelsa State, they asked us if we voted in the past elections we say yes.”
That is were the problem started, that Bayelsa State said they are not Biafra and that Bayelsa State is not doing seat at home and that we betrayed Biafra.
We were told to pull our clothes and we were flogged on our back. Like me I was flogged on the face also.
They said they don’t want to kill us that if they kill us Biafra will lose and that I should go and pass the message to all Bayelsa State people especially the ijaw nation.
Also they mentioned that the imo state governor (Hope) went and brought ijaw boys to kill them that it was the works of Asari Dokubo.
I want to advise all ijaw sons and daughters don’t go to any imo communities for any ceremony of it’s kind.
This am saying happened 12:55pm today which am a victim but God saved me and my church members.
