NDDC Graduates 300 Youths from Technical Skills Training Programme

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has graduated about 300 youths from its two-month Technical Skills Training Programme, organized by the Department of Commercial and Industrial Development. The training focused on pipe fitting, scaffolding, sandblasting/pipe coating, and forklift operations.

Speaking at the event, Executive Director, Projects, Dr. Victor Antai, representing the Managing Director/CEO, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, said the initiative aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, aimed at creating jobs and reducing crime in the Niger Delta. He added that graduates would benefit from follow-up mentorship and further opportunities to enhance their skills.

In his goodwill message, the Executive Director, Corporate Services,Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde congratulated the trainees and urged them to apply their knowledge productively, create wealth, and contribute to the development of the region.
