Old Port Harcourt Town Holds 4th Annual Quiz Competition for Primary Schools

The Old Port Harcourt Town Neighborhood Association has announced the commencement of its 4th Annual Quiz Competition for primary schools within the Port Harcourt Township Area.

The event, scheduled to hold from October 13th to 15th, 2025, will feature 30 participating schools competing in key academic subjects, including Mathematics, General Knowledge, and English Language.

Speaking on the upcoming contest, the organizers noted that the initiative aims to promote academic excellence, intellectual growth, and healthy competition among young learners in the city.

Attractive prizes are up for grabs, including ₦500,000, a trophy, and school bags for the first-place winner, ₦300,000 and a trophy for the second place, and ₦150,000 with a trophy for the third position. Additional consolation prizes will also be presented to the most outstanding student and the neatest participant.

The 2025 edition of the competition will take place at the Agbani Derego Cultural Centre, Bende Street, Port Harcourt, and promises to be an inspiring showcase of young talent and educational brilliance.
