PHCCIMA President Dr. Chinyere Nwoga Demonstrates Strong Solidarity at Maiden Obio/Akpor Business & Economic Forum (OBEF 2026)

Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA) President, Dr. Chinyere Nwoga, was ably represented by High Chief Emeka Ezekwe, Chairman of the Professional Services & Consultancy Trade Group, at the maiden edition of the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area Business and Economic Forum (OBEF 2026).

The high-profile event, powered by the dynamic Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor LGA, Hon. Dr. Gift Worlu, and his team, attracted a large gathering of stakeholders. These included government officials, private sector leaders, International Oil Companies (IOCs), traditional rulers (royal fathers), technocrats, and members of the general public. It was held at Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt.

Speaking on behalf of the PHCCIMA President, High Chief Emeka Ezekwe conveyed the Chamber’s strong commitment and readiness to actively participate in the development of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area. He emphasized PHCCIMA’s willingness to partner with all stakeholders to co-create practical solutions that will enhance the ease of doing business and drive sustainable economic prosperity across Rivers State.

“Together, we can build a business environment that works for investors, enterprises, and the people of Rivers State,” High Chief Ezekwe stated.

The well-attended forum featured insightful keynote speeches from key stakeholders, royal fathers, technocrats, and representatives of the IOCs. It concluded with a networking lunch break, providing opportunities for further collaboration and idea-sharing.

PHCCIMA’s participation underscores its pivotal role as a foremost business advocacy body in the region, dedicated to fostering public-private partnerships for economic growth and development in Rivers State.
