This second edition was designed to consolidate and sustain the remarkable gains recorded during the maiden edition, which was successfully hosted last year in Uyo. The enthusiasm, unity, and raw talent witnessed then reaffirmed the belief that sports remain a powerful tool for regional integration and youth empowerment.

The Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta Development Commission, deeply appreciated the Governors of the nine Niger Delta states for their unwavering commitment, partnership, and contributions towards making the Festival an annual celebration of excellence and unity.

Beyond competition, the Niger Delta Sports Festival is a strategic platform for fostering peace, strengthening bonds across states, and channeling the energy of Niger Delta youths towards productive engagement.
