The Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board in partnership with ROCHE, a Pharmatech company into Diabetes care with over 40years experience, conducted their first ever 3-day training (2nd, 4th and 5th of August, 2022) of Primary Health Care staff on integrated personalized diabetes management, with the aim to improve service delivery and optimize patient care and management.
In attendance were Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacy Technicians, Laboratory Scientists and Technicians and Community Health Officers which summed up to Two hundred and Fifty (250) health professionals being trained.
