NPA Announces Arrival of 20 Ships Carrying Food and Petroleum Products in Lagos

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced that about 20 ships carrying food items, petroleum products, and other goods are expected to dock at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos between November 10 and 12.

According to the NPA’s shipping position for Monday, four of the vessels will carry crude oil, another four are loaded with petrol, three will transport aviation fuel, and the remaining nine are expected to deliver diesel, gas oil, and other products.

The authority also revealed that three ships have already arrived and are awaiting berthing with general cargo and bulk urea. Additionally, 11 vessels are currently at the ports discharging general cargo, bulk wheat, sugar, containers, and bulk gas.

The NPA’s announcement underscores ongoing efforts to ensure steady supply and efficient handling of essential goods at Lagos ports.
