Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, on Monday received members of the Senate and House of Representatives Committees on the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) at Government House, Asaba, during a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening collaboration for development across the state.
The governor highlighted the importance of synergy between the state government and interventionist agencies, noting that while the Niger Delta Development Commission plays a critical role in addressing infrastructural gaps, emphasis must be placed on quality delivery, transparency, and proper oversight of all projects.
Oborevwori stressed the need for value-driven execution, urging stakeholders to adopt rigorous monitoring mechanisms to ensure that projects are not only completed but are impactful and sustainable.
