Dr. Agiriye Monima Harry, Chairman of Degema Local Government Area, has taken steps to equip a new health facility in Isokun Community, fulfilling a campaign promise.
On November 8th, Dr. Harry, accompanied by Vice Chairman Mrs. Ibimina Igoni Jaja, visited the facility to assess its condition and identify necessary equipment
Harry said, the facility will be fully functional in the coming weeks, to enable the health workers relocate from the old structure.
He noted that this gesture would boost access to quality health care services and complement ongoing efforts of the Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board.
On his part, the Chairman of the Community Development Committee, who doubles as Chairman of the Ward Development Committee of the Clinic, Chief Bature Dennis, expressed joy at the gesture of the Chairman towards fulfilling the promise made to the people of Usokun Community.
