Access Bank CEO Herbert Wigwe visits Nyesom Wike

The Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank Plc Herbert Onyewumbu Wigwe who is from Isiokpo Community in Rivers State, recently visited the State Governor Nyesom Wike.

The purpose of his meeting with the Governor was to discus his Foundation’s intervention project in the Health Sector of the State.

The CEO of the Bank, as part of his commitment to improve Health sector in the state, his foundation called, ‘THE HOW FOUNDATION’ has adopted 25 health care centers across the 23 LGA’s in Rivers State.

Herbert Onyewumbu Wigwe through his foundation seeks to renovate these health centres, put in modern equipment and operate them for 5 years.

He said, “As part of our commitment to improving healthcare outcomes, the Foundation has adopted 25 Primary Healthcare Centres in the ongoing Adopt-A-Healthcare Facility Programme (ADHFP).

“Our goal is to revamp healthcare Centres in 23 Local Government Areas of Rivers State, build their capacity (both material and human resources), operate them for 5 years, and eventually hand them over to the State.” Herbert Onyewumbu Wigwe said.
