The Executive Chairman of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area Hon. Mrs. Tonye Briggs-Oniyide, today attended the Simplified Grassroot Ladies, (SGL) Rivers First with the Theme; ‘VICTORY PRAISE’ held in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area.
Tonye Briggs-Oniyide, addressing the Women at the Victory Praise Thanksgiving Ceremony assures the Women of her continuous support for the growth and development of the Simplified Grassroot Ladies in Rivers State.
The Council Boss, Oniyide, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts, attempts and achievements of the Women’s group at all levels in recent times, and affirmed that women always possess the noble qualities of life.
She also commended the Wife of the Governor, Her Excellency Lady Valerie Fubara, for her support and initiative, adding that a strong spiritual support, will unite the Simplified Family Members.
Speaking at the event, the State Coordinator Simplified Grassroot Ladies (SGL) Rivers State, Mrs. Onyii Ille, Esq, commended the Executive Chairman Hon. Mrs. Tonye Briggs-Oniyide, for her generous support always.
The preacher, Pastor Edith Ikoroma, taking her exaltation from the book of Numbers 17:1, with topic: BE BLOSSOM, task Women to always remain focused and Faithful to God, adding that God alone gives power to lead.
