Dr. Agiriye Monima Harry is a renowned orthopaedic surgeon having over 18years experience with particular interest in Arthroplasty (Knee and Hip surgery).
He is a Fellow of the Medical College of Surgeons of Nigeria (Orthopaedics), West African College of Surgeons and International College of Surgeons and Member Nigerian Institute of Management.
He has a track record of meritoriously serving in numerous capacities in Professional and Social Organisations. He was the Secretary, Resident Doctors Association during his years as a resident doctor in National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, Lagos.
He has been involved in other ad-hoc duties which include Membership of the State Technical Advisory Committee on Health Blueprint 2011, State Emergency Management Team for Relief of Flood and Fire Victims (Internally Displaced Persons) in 2011 and Vice Chairman (Medical) Local Organising Committee for National Sports Festival 2011 hosted by Rivers State.
He has vast experience in managing health services having been the Head of Department, Casualty in Braithwaite Memorial Specialist Hospital between 2002 and 2006, Head Emergency Medical Services (EMS) between 2004 and 2013, Director Special Duties/EMS (2013), Director Medical Services, Ministry of Health (2013), and currently Permanent Secretary, Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board (RSPHCMB).
He is a highly focused person, a consummate team builder and a motivator with a knack for result; as the Permanent Secretary/Executive Secretary Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board he is currently focused on improving access and quality of health care at the grass-root.
He has received numerous awards for his sterling contribution to human development, among which are those from Nigeria Institute of Management, Nigeria Medical Association and eve afrique. He is sociable, kind hearted and a great philanthropist.
He is a lover of good music, squash and travelling. He is happily married with two lovely children.
