A Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday July 7, disqualified Delta Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Delta state, Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, from contesting in 2023 election.
Oborevwori was disqualified from contesting in the election over discrepancies in his certificates.
Justice Taiwo Taiwo who presided over the case, ruled that the plaintiff, David Edevbie, proved beyond reasonable doubt that Oborevwori was unqualified by the discrepancies in his documents.
Delta PDP Chairman, Mr. Kingsley Esiso when contacted said he is yet to read the court judgement to know the next line of action.
