The Federal High Court in Abuja, under the jurisdiction of Justice Emeka Nwite, has nullified the arrest order against the Chief of Staff of the Rivers State Government House, RT. Hon. Ehie Edison, and five others.
Initially issued on January 31, 2024, the warrant targeted individuals allegedly linked to the fire incident at the Rivers State House of Assembly complex, purportedly loyal to Gov. Fubara.
The names included Ehie Edison ESQ, Jinjiri Bala, Happy Benedict, Progress Joseph, Adokiye Oyagiri, and Chibuike O Peter, also known as CJ Rambo. However, Justice Nwite’s recent ruling has invalidated the arrest order, citing potential legal complexities or insufficiencies in the evidence presented.
