As Former Chairmen Express Confidence In Chairman’s Ability To Perform Creditably

In a concerted effort to advance development through synergy with stakeholders, the Executive Chairman of Degema Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. Agiriye Monima Harry and Degema Mayors Forum, have agreed to work together for the interest of the LGA.
The decision was reached, Monday, after a strategic meeting, which held at the Council Secretariat in Degema.
Some of the decisions reached include;
To review the gratuity of former Council Chairmen from what it is, to what is practicable
•To convene a quarterly Meeting to be attended by all Ex-Mayors of DELGA.
•Those Council Chairmen who left problems unsolved will not be part of the benefits and plans outlined in numbers 1 and 2. Until those problems that they left unsolved are handled.
Diplomatically try and retrieve all important Council property from wherever they are.
Speaking after the stakeholders meeting, Chairman of the Degema Mayors Forum, Sir Hon. Daobu Harvest Harry, commended the Council Chairman for seeking collaboration with the leadership of the LGA, noting it as “a good sign for unity and progress.”
He stated that looking at the rich profile of Dr. Harry and his antecedents as an accomplished medical doctor, the leaders were very confident that he would perform creditably to move the LGA forward.
While congratulating the Council Boss on his election, the leaders described his emergence as divinely orchestrated for the good of Degema LGA.
