The immediate-past executive vice president Upstream NNPCL Engr. Adokiye Tombomieye has been decorated with the Peace Legend Awards 2023, Celebrating the 50 Legends in Rivers State.
Engr. Adokiye Tombomieye, amongst other recipients was presented the award in the 12th edition of the Peace Legend Awards which held on on Sunday night 10th, December, 2023, at Hotel Presidential, Rivers State.
The Award, according to the organizers, is to recognize and celebrate great personalities, companies and brands in Rivers State, who have helped move the State economically and industry wise, thereby prompting peace, in the grassroot enhancement, digital innovation, infrastructural and youth development, entrepreneurship, and empowerment, and fulfilling corporate social responsibilities.
Engr Adokiye Tombomieye is a self driving and efficient chemical engineer with broad range of proficiency and competent across the value chain of the Oil and Gas Industry who’s philanthropic gesture cuts across borders. Until his retirement, Engr Adokiye Tombomieye’s leadership skills in the oil and gas sector led to several remarkable accomplishments including the commercial recovery of hydrocarbon in the interior basins and the successful completion of several projects that benefit the nation economically.
