On Children’s Day May 27, 2024 the Hagreb Mentorship Project organised a Mentorship Program at Holy Rosary College Port Harcourt
The program, themed “Secure Your Future,” featured a heartwarming address by the event convener, Hon. Justice Elsie Thompson, who shared her experiences and triumphs. Goodwill messages were delivered by the Holy Rosary Old Girls Association (HROGA) and FIDA Nigeria Rivers State Branch.
Speakers at the event included Dr. Nengi Alazigha, who spoke on Health: Life Planning Education; Mrs. Helen-May Ogoun, who discussed Career Guidance and Counseling; Pastor Mrs. Dorothy Ofia, who addressed Spiritual Growth; and Abigail Ijioma, who spoke on the Influence of Social Media. It is worthy of note that the convener and all the speakers are old girls of the college. Other old girls were also in attendance.
The Q&A session was lively and engaging, with speakers and organisers responding enthusiastically to inquiries. Presentations were made to over 120 participants and speakers. Hagreb also presented three white boards to the school. The program was aimed at encouraging the children to focus on their future through the power of mentorship and life planning education for achieving purpose, fulfillment, and success.
