Hon. Prince Umejuru Isaac N. Umejuru, JP, has officially constituted the ONELGA Economic Advisory Council to drive economic growth and development within the Local Government Area.
During his address at the inauguration, Hon. Umejuru charged the council members to leverage their wealth of experience to enhance the economic prospects of ONELGA and its communities. He emphasized the importance of innovative thinking in transforming the LGA, encouraging the council to propose creative solutions that will improve the well-being of residents.
He further assured the council of his openness to constructive advice, stating, “This administration is committed to collaboration and progress. I am open to receiving and implementing valuable recommendations from this committee.
In his acceptance speech, Chief Chinedu Ile, the newly appointed Chairman of the ONELGA Economic Advisory Council, pledged to immediately begin implementing actionable strategies for the economic growth of the Local Government Area.
Chief Ile assured stakeholders that the committee would not remain a “paper body” but would actively engage with the ONELGA Chairman, Hon. Prince Umejuru Isaac N. Umejuru, JP, to drive meaningful economic development.
We are committed to hitting the ground running. This committee will work hand-in-hand with the council chairman and other stakeholders to ensure tangible and impactful economic progress for ONELGA,” Chief Ile stated.
His remarks reinforced the council’s mission to foster innovation, create opportunities, and improve the economic standing of the community.
