Nigerian man narrates his experience at a Airport how he bought a plate of rice to quench his hunger before he boards his flight to Lagos.
The man identified as Ogbonge Doctor narrates how he bought a plate of rice and fish with tiger nut for N6000 and was at the verge of leaving the food to board his flight, it was not yet for his flight time when he went to buy the food for himself. According to him, he said he was hungry and needed to eat.
Narrating his experience in a facebook post, he said:
“I’m Not Happy
So just rushed to the airport to catch a 6pm flight to Lagos. At about 5:55pm, Airpeace announced boarding for a flight to Lagos but it wasn’t my flight. I asked a staff to be sure and he said mine has not started boarding. Ok, I said if they are boarding an earlier flight now, seems that flight was shifted and ours may be shifted too. I was very very hungry but decided to wait for about 10 mins to see if we will board. We didn’t and I decided to go and eat this their unnecessarily expensive airport food.”
“This rice here is 2k, the fish is 3k, the tiger nut is 1k. Immediately I ordered my food and paid, for me to descend on it like a hungry lion this people announced my flight boarding. How do I leave a food I bought against my wish just to quench hunger. 6k wasted!! No be with clear eyes I use buy this small fish 3k, the least would have been allowing me to eat it! I’m in cifia pains. Missing my flight is not an option. Right now, I’m sitting in the airliner and the only thoughts crossing my mind is my food. I feel like I’ve been chinmarked. Na that fish wey I buy 3k de pain me pass. Ya diwa,” post reads.
