International Women’s Day 2022: Gov. Diri Celebrates Bayelsa Women
To Commemorate the International women’s Day world celebration, The Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri in a statement praised Bayelsa Women.
He said; “On behalf of my family, and the Prosperity Government, I celebrate all our hardworking, resourceful, loving, peaceful, and illustrious women of our dear State of Bayelsa.
As we join the rest of the world to celebrate International Women’s Day 2022, with the theme: “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”, we shall continue to work towards creating opportunities and empowerment for our women.
We are running a government that promotes gender equality in our policies and programs and surely, it can only get better going forward.
Let’s celebrate our colourful women today and always!”
