Nigeria’s U-19 boys volleyball team, yesterday, defeated their Cameroun 3-1 in the semi-finals of the ongoing volleyball championship holding in Morocco.
The match played at El Jadida saw the Nigerian team put up a good fight against Cameroun, winning in three sets (18-25, 25-21, 28-26, 25-16).
With this Victory, Nigeria has becomes the first sub-Saharan African team to enter a back-to-back final in the U-19 African Nations Volleyball Championship.
The 2022 U-19 Men’s African Nations Volleyball Championship, which started on September 1 ends on September 12.
