Nigerian national, identified as Lazarus Olleh, has been sentenced to 12-year in prison and to face deportation at the end of his sentence after he was convicted by jury for r@ping a young lady in London.
The 38-year-old man had been in the UK for about six weeks when he targeted the 18-year- old victim in Hull in the early hours of 29 October in 2022.
Olleh parked in a taxi rank outside Propaganda nightclub before coaxing the woman, who had been at a Halloween-themed night and was drunk. DNA tests confirmed Olleh, of Belmont Street, Hull, had canal knowledge with the young lady without her consent.
However, he denied allegation but was convicted by a jury. He will face deportation back to Nigeria after serving his 12-year jail term.
