We, the Chiefs, leaders, stakeholders, women, youths, and the elderly *of Tombia in Degema LGA*, extend our heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed Executive Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminialayi Fubara GSSRS, for the monumental Trans-Kalabari road project linking Tombia from Rumuolumeni, spanning an impressive *7,750 meters*.
For the people of Tombia and the larger Kalabari community, the realisation of this road has been a long-cherished aspiration. It not only provides a vital link to Bukuma, Buguma and neighboring communities but also signposts a significant step towards enhanced connectivity and development for our region.
Sir, your administration’s decision to prioritise Tombia in this phase of this transformative project speaks volumes of your leadership and commitment to the welfare of all Rivers State residents. We express our heartfelt gratitude for considering our community and pledge our unwavering support to ensure the successful completion of this endeavor.
Finally, it is imperative to mention that the Community has a team of Engineering experts on road and infrastructure construction and management which will be ready and handy to robustly support the State Government Monitoring Team when the project takes off.
