Osepiribo Ben-Willie is an accomplished banker with over 25 years’ work experience of which she has been leading business transformation initiatives at various levels within the financial service space.
Mrs. Ben-Willie is currently an executive director at Heritage Bank Plc.
She started her banking career as a National Youth Service Corps member with the defunct Credite Bank Nigeria Limited in 1991 as a Treasury Officer. She went on to work with Diamond Bank, Zenith Bank and Stanbic IBTC at different capacities; places where she was recognised as a leading authority in turn-around strategy and execution.
She holds a first degree in Business Management from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, An MBA in Business Administration from the prestigious Imperial College London, Masters in Management from the University of Liverpool, London, Organizational Leadership Certificate from Central University Missouri USA and a further double-barrel degree as a Chartered Banker- MBA from the University of Bangor -Wales London.
Osepiribo holds various professional memberships in different organisations where she is recognised as one of the many women thriving in the Banking sector.
She is a Fellow of Institute of Credit Administration, she is an Associate Member, Nigerian Institute of Management, she is also a Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
Osepiribo is a Member of Chartered Management Institute, UK, she possesses a Leadership Certificate from University of Central Missouri, USA, she is an Associate Member, Women in Business in Nigeria (WIMBIZ).
She is a Honorary Senior Member of Chartered Institute of Bankers (HCIB), a Member of Association of Professional Women Bankers of Nigeria (APWBN), A Senior Fellow of Chartered Institute of Loan & Risk Management of Nigeria.
She is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management, She is also a senior Research Fellow of Institute for Commerce and Research Enterprise Development. She possesses a Honorary Professional Doctorate Award and she is a member of Chartered Banker of Wales United Kingdom.
She is currently the chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, Management Finance and General-Purpose Committee, the Recruitment Panel, and Promotions Committee in Heritage Bank.
Osepiribo is a Committee Member of, Criticized Asset Committee, Management Risk Committee, Management Credit Committee and Asset and Liability Committee, of the Bank.
She is a recipient of the 2022 Eveafrique Heart of Gold Award and she is currently an Executive Director In Heritage Bank PLC. She is also a jewel of The Kilali Tribe, a goup of phenomenal women thriving and doing well for themselves in their different career path.
Osepiribo’s professional experience and expertise are being modeled by attending several management development training programmes internationally and within the country.
