Bayelsa State Governor Senator Douye Diri laid his Father Late Pa A.J.M Diri, to rest.
In attendance were dignitaries from the political sector, friends and well wishers including Former President of Nigeria Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Labour Presidential Candidate Peter Obi, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Others who attended are Akwa Ibom Governor Udom Emmanuel, Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke amongst others
The service was held at St Peters Anglican Church in Sampou, Bayelsa State on Saturday May 6th, 2023.
