The Port Harcourt Boat Club 1947, the foremost and prestigious Boating club in the Niger Delta , has elected a new management team to steer the affairs of the club. The election took place during the club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), which on the 30th of November, 2024 at the club’s premises.

The new management team, which was unanimously elected comprises:

1. Vice Commodore: Sir Dan Harrison

2. Rear Commodore: Sir Jammy Coker

3. Secretary: HRH Chief Awoh, JP

4. Honorary Secretary (Treasurer): Chief, Egnr Austin Bob-Manuel

5. Membership Secretary: Dawari Songo

6. Boating Member: Amaopusenibo Fubara Hart

7. House/Grounds: Dango Otaji

8. Bar/Kitchen: Senibo Bara Atagona

9. Social Member: Daso George
