The City dwellers all elated as the Port Harcourt to Bonny road has been completed. The road construction executed by Julius Berger is first road link between Bonny Island to the rest of Rivers State, the Bodo-Bonny road is a milestone infrastructure development project for the advancement of the Niger Delta and a catalyst for the continued success of Bonny Island and key industrial area in Nigeria economic development.
This pioneer project is also a benchmark regarding financing cooperation between the private and public sectors, in reference to the special contractual conditions of part funding of 50% by Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG).
A video that surfaced on social media on Monday the first set of people who accessed the road expressed their excitement as they arrived Bonny by road from Port Harcourt driving through the Bodo-Bonny Road.
