By Suoyo Ekubo

Ahead of the Rivers State 2023 governorship election, the governorship aspirant of the Accord Party Alabo Dumo Lulu Briggs has picked his party nomination form today at the state party secretariat.

Dumo while thanking the party members and the party loyalists said “I thank you all immensely for your show of love and support, we all know that I have no god father but I have God the father. This exercise is made possible just because we have God the father, and it has brought a defining moment for Rivers State and that moment by the special grace of God is something that all of us will be proud of.”

The governorship hopeful who also acknowledged the contributions of the past and present government of the state said “a lot more still need to be done, it’s not about us but it’s about the people,” he said.

“There is going to be great governance and very great times in Rivers State, from 2023 Accord Party shall form the next government in Rivers State but let no party worry about that, we shall form a government that includes everybody.”

Meanwhile focusing on the WE AGENDA Dumo said, “as you all know i am a people’s person I belong to just everybody. We shall engage with everyone which is customary, we shall take our messages to everywhere. Let everyone hear that this is the WE AGENDA this is the Accord Party and Rivers people are in one accord and we shall put people first.”

“My life has always been about people, I have known since that accommodation is better than exclusion so when I mean to form an inclusive government people believe that because everything I do in my life has always been about what everyone else will benefit from. I am not  a politician in the mode of all other politicians, am a politician with promise,” he said.
