Five Students from Rivers State have benefitted from the Renewed Hope Initiative’s Tertiary Scholarship Scheme for students undergoing their educational pursuit in Nigeria.
The Scholarship Scheme, which is in collaboration with the African School of Economics, African Union Development Agency, and the NEPAD, is a flagship programme of the Renewed Hope Initiative, pet project of the Wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
The Rivers State beneficiaries are Blue-Jack Tamunotonye, Alfred Precious, Ibingo Jack, Walter Wariso and Bright-Worlu David.
The students were among the over 200 beneficiaries who were presented with their Scholarship awards at the Presidential Villa Abuja on Thursday( yesterday) in Abuja.
The beneficiaries from Rivers State are grateful to the wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of the Rivers State Governor, Lady Valerie Fubara for the honour and promised to make them proud in your educational pursuit.
The delegation of Rivers State beneficiaries was led by Mrs Tonye Briggs Oniyide, DSSRS who represented the wife of the Rivers State Governor, Lady Valerie Fubara.
