The Rivers State government has outlined 20 separate activities, which will include projects inauguration and flag-off to mark the first anniversary of Governor Siminalayi Fubara in office.
Secretary to the Rivers State Government (SSG) Dr. Tammy Danagogo gave details of the projects and other activities at a media briefing that took place in his office in Port Harcourt.
The First Year Anniversary Planning Committee of the administration of Governor Fubara has Dr Tammy Danagogo as its Chairman.
It has planned out a twenty-day programme of events that will witness about 7 distinct projects billed for inauguration.
Also, there are about five other projects scheduled to be flagged off.
During the period there will be the Rivers State Economic Summit 2024, children’s party, youth development programme, a praise night and State Banquet to celebrate the 57th Anniversary of the creation of Rivers State.
Dr Danagogo also explained that there are other shades of the project, some of which were inherited that have attained various levels of completion.
He said a book will be published containing several activities of the Governor which will be made available to the public to enable Rivers people have a better understanding of what has been achieved so far.
