Super Eagles mourn loss of lives after victory against South Africa

The Super Eagles national team have expressed a moment of grief for the patriotic Nigerians who lost their lives while watching the AFCON Semi-final match between Nigeria and South Africa due to the high tension the match stimulated after South Africa equalized to make it 1–1 in full-time of play.

According to reports, four Nigerians lost their lives including a Nigerian Businessman, CEO of Groupe Auto Promotion Chief Osondu Nwoye, who collapsed after the Nigeria second goal was cancelled and VAR awarded a penalty to South Africa.

Nigerian University Staff, Alhaji Ayuba Abdullahi also passed on while watching the game. He was the Deputy Bursar of KWASU.

Former Nigerian Lawmaker, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh also passed on while watching the AFCON game.

A Nigerian graduate and Corps member, Samuel also reportedly passed on while watching the game.
