The wedding between Senibo Nelson-Jaja and Chioma Emetu was an event that practically shook the city of Port Harcourt, bringing out men and women who matter in the city.
Held at the EUI Centre, the event saw the couple dancing to good music, enjoying games, and sharing laughter.
Dignitaries in attendance included former Governor of Rivers State, Sir Celestine Omehia; one-time governorship aspirant of APC and Accord, Hon. Dakuku Peterside; Alabo Dúmó Lulu Briggs; Timi Alabe, Amb. Idere Ogan; Chief of Staff to the Rivers State Governor, Hon. Edison Ehie; Speaker Oko-Jumbo; former Transport Minister, Dr. Abiye Sekibo; Engr. Adokiye Tombomieye; Sen. Mbata; traditional rulers from Opobo; and many others.
Another highlight of the event was the fashion choices made by the attendees. It was indeed a sight for sore eyes as many guests turned out in elaborate styles.
During the joining, the minister admonished the couple to love each other and always walk in love to build a lasting relationship.
In the later part of the event, music legend Jonny Drill performed some of his timeless songs, serenading the couple and inviting guests to join in the celebration.
