Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan won the women’s 100 metres hurdles at the Diamond League in Zurich on Thursday.
The World and Commonwealth Games 100m hurdles champion and record holder finished in 12.29s while Anerican Tia Jones came in 2nd in 12.40s and Britany Anderson of Jamaica ran 12.42s to finish 3rd.
Amusan is the the first Nigerian to win a gold medal at the championship with her display of speed in Eugene, Oregon.
