As part of its ongoing efforts to foster strategic investment and economic development in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja Investments Company Limited (AICL) has unveiled some of it’s investment plans for the year 2025.
Group Managing Director, AICL, Amb. Maureen Tamuno, unveiled these plans during the second edition of its roundtable series, with key leaders from financial institutions to drive investment and economic growth in the Federal Capital Territory.
Tamuno while welcoming the participants to the event, expressed gratitude for their continued commitment to driving investment in the FCT.
She emphasized the power of collaboration and innovation in achieving sustainable development and acknowledged the role of financial institutions in bridging funding gaps and facilitating major investment initiatives.
The GMD drew tha attention of participants to the FCT Minister’s infrastructural drive around Abuja and in the six Area Councils, the road networks and other projects targeted at creating enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
Tamuno used the forum to announce two major upcoming investment events for 2025.
The Abuja Business & Investment Summit 2025 (ABISummit2025) scheduled for October 21–25, 2025, at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, with the theme “Empowering Sustainable Growth: Unlocking Potential in Emerging Markets.”
In her words: “This Summit will expand on the foundation laid by ABIS 2024, fostering strategic partnerships and economic transformation”.
“Investors Forum in the United Kingdom (June 2025), an engagement platform designed to attract European investors and Nigerians in the diaspora, showcasing investment opportunities in Abuja.” She added.
The GMD also confirmed the participation of the Minister of the FCT at both events, reinforcing the Federal Got overnment’s commitment to investment-led growth and development.
The MD Emerging Africa, Toyin Sanni, MD Abuja Enterprise, Chudi Ugwuada, Zonal Rep. United Capital, Nduka Uzorkwu and other financial leaders at the roundtable applauded AICL’s visionary leadership and strategic initiatives; emphasizing the importance of collaboration in unlocking Abuja’s investment potential.
They expressed commitment to partnering with AICL on key projects, including the Diaspora Roundtable and infrastructure financing, reinforcing a shared goal of positioning Abuja as a premier investment hub.
The event convened key leaders from financial institutions to review the successes of the Abuja Business and Investment Summit (ABIS 2024), discuss investment challenges and opportunities, and outline collaborative strategies for sustainable economic growth in 2025.
