The Executive Chairman of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs. Tonye Briggs Oniyide, DSSRS, FWASCA, was one of the award recipients at the prestigious OLD PORT-HARCOURT TOWNSHIP NOSTALGIA SHOW/AWARD NIGHT event, hosted by the OLD PORT-HARCOURT TOWNSHIP PARAGONS on Saturday.. 
The event, themed “A Night of Reminiscence,” aimed to redefine the narrative that Old Port-Harcourt Township and Port-Harcourt at large are unsafe for business and investment.
The occasion drew notable dignitaries and personalities, including Chief (Dr.) Dumo Lulu Briggs, Iniikeiroari VI, Paramount Head of Oruwari War Canoe Group of Houses; Hon. Ichemati Ezebunwo, Executive Chairman of PHALGA; and Engr. Sule Amachree, PhD, Executive Chairman of ASALGA, among others.
In a moment of high recognition, Hon. Mrs. Tonye Briggs Oniyide was honored with the FEMALE TRAILBLAZER ICON of the event. The evening was filled with exciting performances, including thrilling music from Vanaga (Original Ogbongidi), Jesusboy and Oritz Williki et al.
