There was so much fun and excitement on the faces of AKULGANS as the 1st AKULGA Praise and Worship Night organised by the Executive Chairman, Akuku-Toru Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Tonye Briggs-Oniyide, DSSRS, FWASCA to launch into the New year 2025 yield a huge success.
The 1st AKULGA Praise and Worship Night, tagged; “AN EXTRAORDINARY CROSS OVER EXPERIENCE” was fully attended by the Executive Chairman, Chief. Dr. David T. Briggs, Stakeholders across the LGA, Councillors, Supervisory Councillors, Chiefs and other Sons and Daughters of AKULGA.
The event which held on Tuesday 31st December, 2024 at Abonnema stadium, also featured the Abonnema Mass Choir, Minister Alloyius Mbata, as well as other Guest Ministers of the Gospel.
Hon. Mrs. Tonye Briggs-Oniyide, while felicitating with the good People of Akuku-Toru LGA, reaffirmed her commitment to build Akuku-Toru LGA to greater heights.
The Guest Speaker, Most. Rev. Benibo F. Fubara-Manuel, P.hD, in his exhaltation message drawn from the book of Gen. 28:15 with the topic: “GOD’S COVENANT COMMITMENT TO YOU”, described the year 2025 as a special year for God’s Children in Akuku-Toru Local Government Area.
Highlight of the event includes, the display of Fire works to usher in the year 2025.
