The Rivers State Investment Promotion Agency (RSIPA) was established in August 2024 by Governor Siminalayi Fubara through Executive Order No. 002 of 2024. This initiative stemmed from recommendations made during the Rivers State Economic and Investment Summit held in May 2024, aiming to enhance the state’s economic environment and attract investors.
Mission and Objectives:
Centralized Facilitation: RSIPA serves as a one-stop-shop for investors, streamlining inquiries and business interests to ensure efficient handling of investment-related activities.
Collaboration with MDAs: The agency works collaboratively with various government ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) to promote ease of doing business and improve the operating environment for investors in Rivers State.
Investment Coordination: RSIPA facilitates, complements, and coordinates activities ofdifferent MDAs and key players in the business environment to ensure successful investment ventures.
