DELGA Chairman Honors Obuama Community’s Annual Thanksgiving.
Degema Local Government Area Chairman, Hon. Dr. Agiriye Monima Harry, attended the Obuama Community’s Annual Thanksgiving/Rededication Service, themed “Obuama Praise Ye the Lord,” on January 1, 2025.
The event drew a large crowd, including notable figures Pastor Enoch Afanya and Reverend Hindle I. Harry.
Key Highlights of Emphasis by the Council Biss was on Gratitude and Unity, Dr. Harry stressed the importance of gratitude and community unity, citing resilience as a key strengths.
On the same day, Street Numbering Signposts were Unveiled, the Obuama Council of Chiefs, led by Alabo Engr. Obomate Rowland Jim Tom Big Harry, introduced new street numbering signposts to enhance navigation and emergency response times. Dr. Harry reaffirmed his support for Obuama’s growth, expressing confidence in the community’s future and pledged his commitment as a development partner.
The initiative aims to improve the community’s infrastructure and quality of life. This development is part of the broader efforts to enhance the Degema Local Government Area.
