Delta Gov. Oborevwori Receives Ovation During Inspection of Flyover Projects in Warri–Effurun

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, on Monday received massive ovations from residents, traders and motorists as he inspected the ongoing DSC Roundabout and Enerhen Junction flyovers, as well as sections of the Warri–Sapele–Benin Road under reconstruction.

Residents across Warri and Effurun hailed the governor for visible infrastructural development, describing him as a “people’s governor” and assuring him of continued support.

Speaking after inspecting the projects at Enerhen Junction, Governor Oborevwori expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work, noting that the flyovers and road dualisation would ease traffic congestion and improve residents’ quality of life.

He said he appealed to Julius Berger to temporarily open sections of the flyovers during the Christmas and New Year festivities to reduce traffic congestion, acknowledging the hardship residents had endured during construction.

The governor disclosed that one side of the Enerhen flyover is nearly completed and in temporary use, while both sides of the DSC flyover were also opened to traffic for the festive period.

He expressed optimism that the three flyovers and the road dualisation would be completed during the dry season, commending Julius Berger for the quality of work. Governor Oborevwori also wished Deltans a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, noting that peace prevails across the state.
