He is the Founder and Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Multimesh Communications Media Group.

An alumnus of Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Programme, Sir Ohuabunwa exemplifies visionary leadership, innovation, and commitment to excellence. His leadership journey began early as the Senior Prefect of Enitonna High School from 1984 to 1985, where he distinguished himself through discipline, organization, and a passion for structured leadership.

He is also a past President of the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON) and former President of the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture. In addition, he serves as Chairman of the Set Top Box Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, a Board Member of the Greater Port Harcourt City Development Authority, and a Board Member of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Speaking during the event, Sir Godfrey Ohuabunwa described the Presidential Luncheon and unveiling of the Strategic Development Masterplan as a turning point in the history of the institution.

He explained that the blueprint outlines a holistic transformation agenda for the association, anchored on three strategic pillars including infrastructural renewal of the alma mater, economic empowerment of members, and institutional repositioning of the association.

According to him, the strategic objectives of the masterplan include supporting and accelerating the physical and transformational vision of Enitonna High School through the structured implementation of the approved infrastructural assessment report and phased development plan.

He further noted that the initiative is aimed at empowering members economically by supporting small businesses and nurturing scalable entrepreneurs within the association, while also repositioning the association legally, structurally, and digitally to meet contemporary governance and engagement standards.

Sir Ohuabunwa added that the association also intends to leverage its forthcoming 95th anniversary celebration as a rallying point for legacy projects, elite engagement, and sustainable fundraising.

As part of the development plan, the proposed projects include an auditorium and school chapel, classroom blocks, sickbay, school library, ICT centre, administrative block, hostel complex, teachers’ quarters, dining hall, and a well-structured water supply system.

Sir Ohuabunwa also unveiled details of the project, including the projected timeline and estimated cost for completion, noting that the association remains committed to transforming the school into a model institution.

“This is more than a gathering; it is a defining moment in our collective resolve to rebuild, transform, and elevate Enitonna High School to a position of excellence,” he stated.

Other speakers at the event emphasized the importance of strategic planning, leadership, and sustained investment in education as key factors in advancing the institution’s future.
