Eveafrique Business and News has been honoured with the Maritime Excellence Award by the Management and Board of Trustees of the Port Harcourt Boat Club 1947. The award was presented during the club’s annual Boating Festival, held yesterday at the club premises in Port Harcourt.
The recognition comes as a result of EveafriqueNews’ significant contributions to promoting maritime culture and creating sustained awareness around boating activities at the prestigious club.
Receiving the award on behalf of Mrs. Ivy Davies, Mrs. Wale Wopara expressed heartfelt appreciation to the club for the honour. She conveyed Mrs. Davies’ gratitude and reaffirmed Eveafrique’s commitment to supporting and uplifting the legacy of the Port Harcourt Boat Club. “We are deeply honoured by this recognition, and we promise to continue our efforts in promoting the prestigious activities and heritage of this club,” she said.
The Boating Festival drew dignitaries, enthusiasts, and stakeholders from across the maritime and media sectors, underscoring the growing interest in water-based recreation and community engagement in Rivers State.
