FAAC Disburses ₦2.103 Trillion to Federal, State, and Local Governments 

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has announced the disbursement of ₦2.103 trillion to the Federal, State, and Local Governments for September 2025 — one of the highest monthly allocations so far this year.

According to FAAC, the substantial revenue shared reflects the positive impact of fiscal and monetary reforms under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s economy through improved revenue generation and fair distribution of national resources.

The allocation was derived from revenues across key sectors, including oil, gas, customs, and non-oil taxes. FAAC attributed the growth to enhanced coordination between the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), and other revenue-generating agencies.

The Committee noted that the record disbursement underscores ongoing progress in making Nigeria’s revenue system more efficient, transparent, and inclusive—ensuring that all tiers of government have the resources to fulfill their developmental obligations.
