Gokana Council boss, Hon. Monday Dumiye reel out achievements in 100 days

As the Executive Chairman of Gokana Local Government Area, Chief Hon. Monday Dumiye marks his first 100 days in office, we are pleased to highlight his remarkable achievements, which have positively impacted the lives of the people of Gokana and set the foundation for sustainable development.

Key Accomplishments

1. Provision of Free Electricity Supply: Ensuring uninterrupted power supply to Gokana residents.

2. Increased Paramount Rulers’ Allowance: Upgraded the monthly allowance of paramount rulers to 200% to honor and support traditional leadership.

3. Educational Infrastructure:

Reconstruction of St. Peter’s Primary School 1, School 4 Yeghe.

Remodeling of Primary school 1 lewe

Remodeling of Primary School 1, Kdere.

Reconstruction of Primary School 1, Biara.

Reconstruction of Primary School 4, Bodo.

Remodeling of the 6-unit Corps Members Lodge in Bomu Community.

Renovation of the National Union of Gokana students Secretariat Kpor.

4. Administrative and Security Enhancements:

Remodeling of the Sim Fubara Administrative Block in the council.

Reconstruction of the Civil Defence Office at Kpor.

Provision of four utility vehicles for the Nigerian Police and Civil Defence.

Provision of utility vehicle for army, and Police.

Reconstruction of community infrastructures, including the NIN office, Nigerian Immigration office, and Federal Road Safety office at Kpor.

5. Street Lighting and Energy Solutions:

Installation of solar panel streetlights from Kpobie Junction to Bodo.

Installations of solar panel streetlights from Bomu to Bdere.

Installation of a transformer at the Police Residence in Kpobie.

6. Sports Development: Remodelling of the Gokana Central Stadium Kpor to promote sports and community engagement.
