The Executive Chairman of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs. Tonye Briggs Oniyide, DSSRS, FWASCA, was in attendance at the funeral church service of Late Madam Ayebadieye Edward Igbeta.
The solemn ceremony took place today, Thursday, 6th February 2025, at the Diocese of Niger Delta West Anglican Cathedral Church, St. Luke’s, in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
Late Madam Ayebadieye Edward Igbeta, who passed away at the age of 79, was the mother of Dr. Ayebaesin Jacob Beredugo, the Principal Secretary to His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State.
The service was attended by family, friends, government officials, and other dignitaries who gathered to pay their final respects and celebrate the life of the late matriarch.
