On May 7, 2025, Ivy Davies Etokakpan, Editor-in-Chief of Eve Afrique News, received the prestigious Pillar of the Industry Media Award from the Independent Newspaper Publishers Association of Rivers State (RIVPA).
She was celebrated as a true champion and advocate of the media industry.
The award was presented to her by the state executive council, led by Gloria Boma Harry, in recognition of Mrs. Etokakpan’s outstanding contributions to the industry.
Mrs. Etokakpan was ably represented at the ceremony by Maseba Bob-Manuel and Blessing Bliss Chukwuma, the Managing Editor of Eve Afrique News.
