News making rounds say the Chief Justice of Nigeria has resigned from his duties last night on grounds of ill-health.
Information out in the public has it that arrangements have begun to swear in the next most senior justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola as the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria.
Until his resignation, Justice Tanko Muhammed was reported to be seriously ill.
